3rd Grade Responses to the Collaboration Project What was your favorite part of the collaboration project?“Making the Recycle Man” “It was great working together” “Getting to chose whether we were using hot or coll colors, and what materials to use” “When we came up with the name” “Making the individual projects and then putting them together into one” “That we learned something new” “My favorite part of it was working together as a team to make it happen” “Everyone got to see it” “I liked when we were giving names to the person made of trash” “My favorite part was when we made stuff by recycling” “Making such a beautiful thing” What was your favorite part of the art show?“The video” “I liked the drum set, it was cool” “Seeing all the things that different kids made” “Hearing the music” “The video about recycling, it told us how many plastic bottles we use” “All of the different pieces” “The recycle man, because we made it” “The shells” “Everything, they did good at all the projects” “The homemade instruments, and the shells with poems on them” “Seeing different things” “The clean earth and the dirty earth” “The stuff was cool to see” “fire, water, earth and air” “The tree made out of toilet paper rolls” “I liked when we talked about the projects other people made” What did you think about the show?“It was awesome” “I think everyone worked hard” “I thought that it was a good show because of the different art projects made from different things” “It was fun to be there” “We all had fun and got to show our work” “It was cool” “I really enjoyed the art show because I got to see a lot of creative projects, even ours” “It was amazing” “I thought the show was really cool and artistic” Did you feel more excited about art class because of the project?“Yes I am always excited about art, it is my favorite subject” “Not really, but I thought the project was great” “Yes I thought it was a lot of fun doing this project” “I was excited and proud” “In between” “Yes because we worked as a class to make the man” “I felt excited and had fun too” “No, I Love Art” “Yes because we are going to be in an art show” “No, I love art class and want to go everyday” Did you feel proud when you saw the piece in the show?“Yes I was very proud” “I felt proud because it was my work and people liked it.
